Atlantic Precision Rifle Store Policies

METHODS OF PAYMENT

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, and EMT/EFT payments only.

REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Credit card refunds can take longer to process. You will usually see the return credit reflected on your statement within five to fifteen business days. Some card issuers vary.
  • All returnable items are potentially subject to a 25% restocking fee at our discretion, depending on the product. Some manufacturers will not permit us to accept returns. Please contact us to verify if your product is eligible to be returned.
  • Any Orders (that are not custom orders) that are cancelled are subject to a 3.5% cancellation fee.
  • Custom Order Items that are cancelled by the customer are subject to forfeiture of deposit. 
  • Custom Order items that are cancelled by Atlantic Precision Rifle and/or the manufacturer are done at our discretion and the customer deposit will be transferred to either a store credit or a refund - whichever the customer prefers.
  • Layaways that are cancelled by the customer or are not completed within the specified time frame as laid out by Atlantic Precision Rifle are subject to forfeiture of the initial deposit and cancellation of the layaway. Any remaining deposits may be redeemed as a store credit or refund less a 3.5% processing fee if they were made by credit card.

RETURNS

  • If an online or telephone order is delivered, our return policy is active for fourteen (14) days once delivered. If you are outside of the fourteen (14) day period since your purchase, we are unable to offer you a refund.
  • All items, to be eligible for a return within the fourteen (14) day grace period, must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • Several types of goods are exempt from our return policy. Please see section below for details.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase
  • All firearms and ammunition are final sale. No exceptions.

ADDITIONAL NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS:

  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items
  • Hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases
  • If warranty work is required, do not automatically return your purchase to Atlantic Precision Rifle. Please contact us and we will either speak with the manufacturer for you or in some cases, have you contact the manufacturer directly. 
  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any items that are sealed, are not eligible for return

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

  • If you have checked your banking information and waited five business days, then contact your bank or credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. It may take an additional 3 to 6 weeks to appear on your credit card statement. Most refunds are posted within five to seven business days at the earliest.
  • There is often a mandatory processing time period before a refund is posted and each financial institution has different requirements. If after you’ve spoken to the financial institution, and there is nothing posted or in the processing waiting period, then move on to the next step of the process.
  • If you’ve done all of the above and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@atlanticprecisionrifle.com or by telephone at 902-902-9022. Please quote your order number so we can look directly into your file.

SAVING CREDIT CARD INFORMATION SECURELY AT CHECKOUT

  • We currently do not allow our customers who have an account created, to save their credit card information during checkout.
  • WE DO NOT STORE credit card information on our web servers.

VALID CANADIAN FIREARMS LICENSE

  • A valid PAL is required for all firearms, firearm magazines, barrels, and ammunition purchases. Confirmation of your PAL is a must and a second piece of government issued photo ID is also required by law at this time for firearms and ammunition. A Driver's License is the preferred secondary piece of ID.
  • Orders that require a PAL must be shipped to the address associated with that PAL - this is mandatory.

SALE ITEMS (IF APPLICABLE)

  • Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded as they are marked final sale.

EXCHANGES (IF APPLICABLE)

  • All merchandise is guaranteed by the manufacturer against manufacturing defaults only.
  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and only once consent is obtained by the manufacturer. If you wish to exchange it for the same item please contact us directly.

 WARRANTY

  • Manufacturers deal directly with customers for defective products, incorrect packaging and things such as imperfect conditions from the manufacturing process. We do not handle warranty service. To continue to serve our valuable customers, we will help you by providing the manufacturers contact information and can sometimes aid in the process of communications and/or logistics.

EMAIL MONEY TRANSFER/EMT

- EMT must be received by Atlantic Precision Rifle within 24 hours of the time of order or the order will be cancelled.
- No password necessary as this account is registered for auto-deposit. You will see my name on the EMT confirmation from your financial institute.
- Please include your order number in the EMT note section from your financial provider.
- Please ensure the amount sent is correct.
- The customer will be subject to any fees incurred by Atlantic Precision Rifle due to incorrect transfers and/or cancellations on the customer's part.

SHIPPING

We do not accept any liability for lost, stolen or damaged packages. 

We WILL NOT ship to the United States or outside of Canada. No exceptions. 

    1. Firearms and ammunition purchases require the appropriate firearms license (Possession Acquisition Licence) and a second piece of government issued photo ID for confirmation - this is a current requirement of the law. We require your firearms licence and drivers licence information for these products.
    2. We are restricted by law to only be able to ship firearms to the address registered to your PAL (Possession Acquisition License). If you have any issues with this, please contact us directly before your purchase.
    3. We do our best to ship in stock items within 2-3 business days. Delivery to major cities can be expected between 2-6 business days (excluding remote locations). Shipments of restricted firearms are delayed due to requiring government transfer documentation and will not be shipped until authorization is received (each provinces processing time is different). All back-order items are shipped upon arrival and will receive priority processing. Please help us to provide fast and efficient service by providing all requested information at the time of placing your order and specifically a daytime phone number. If you need to contact us regarding your purchase, please also include your order number when doing so to help ensure fast order processing.
    4. All PAL and Driver’s License/Personal Identification Card photos collected for identity verification will be permanently deleted from our system upon proof of delivery from the shipping carrier. Atlantic Precision Rifle does not retain any personal information from online sales beyond what is required by law. 
    5. Due to increased credit card fraud on optics purchases. Billing and shipping addresses must be the same. If a different address is required please contact us directly. Government issued photo ID will be requested to verify the identity of the purchaser - this is mandatory on high end optics purchases at our discretion.

    * If your billing and shipping addresses are different, you may be contacted for additional documentation before we can process your order. Firearms will only be shipped to the address listed on your PAL. No exceptions.

  • When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
  • Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of most products on our site can often be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full unit of measure.

If you are purchasing/shipping an item that has optional shipping insurance offered we strongly advise you to consider purchasing route shipping insurance. This insurance is charged at the actual carrier rate. Any items lost or damaged by the carrier without insurance will only be eligible for up to $100 coverage. 

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
  • We will not be responsible for any items damaged or lost by the carrier. Purchasing insurance is strongly advised for high value items.
  • Shipping ammunition is a heavily regulated service and has an independent set of shipping policies, including limited volume, PAL requirement, and shipping method restrictions. Delivery of ammunition to certain remote areas may not always be possible and is subject to the carrier's policies and discretion.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Any order placed containing firearms and/or ammunition where your billing address and PAL address don’t match may result in your order being cancelled. We require that your billing address and PAL address MATCH. If no resolution is possible cancelled orders are subject to a 3.5% cancellation fee.
  • All returnable items are subject to a 25% restocking fee, depending on the product. Some manufacturers won’t permit us to accept returns. Please contact to verify if your product is eligible to be returned.

PRIVACY

Atlantic Precision Rifle does not sell personal information.

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Atlantic Precision Rifle collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the https://atlanticprecisionrifle.com/ website ("Site"). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Atlantic Precision Rifle.

SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

  • When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, license information, address and email address, etc.
  • When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
  • Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. To opt out of these mailings, you can find an unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

  • We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service such as credit card fraud, etc.

  • However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

  • Remember that certain providers may be located or have facilities that may be located in a different jurisdiction. SECTION 5 – SECURITY

  • To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
  • If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we are PCI-DSS certified and adhere to their requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.
